Celebrate the blooming season of the orchid collection at the Lyman Estate greenhouses. Hundreds of orchid plants are available for sale, including many hard-to-find varieties. Visit these antique greenhouses and enjoy gorgeous floral colors, shapes, and scents. Among the many varieties on display and for sale will be cattleyas, laelias, oncidiums, Paphiopedilum, and Phalaenopsis. Their long lasting and showy blooms make orchids a dramatic addition to any indoor environment and this adaptable species can be grown in a variety of home conditions. Orchids have long been sought after and highly prized. Early explorers braved the tropical jungles of Asia and Central and South America to bring these botanical rarities to collectors fascinated by their beauty and diversity. These brilliant beauties continue to encourage an enthusiastic following. |
